2026 Events

Summer Camp Mauchatea was held August 3–7, 2026, and what a memorable week it
was!
This year, we stayed at Mount Saint Charles in Woonsocket, where campers enjoyed a
wonderful week filled with friendship, fun, and adventure. Activities at camp included a
dance class, face painting, and a special visit from a therapy dog.

Monday kicked off with a trip to Spring Lake, hosted by the Burrillville Lions. When rain changed our plans, we quickly pivoted to an afternoon of bowling and plenty of fun!

Tuesday brought more adventure as we headed to Lincoln for kayaking. We then traveled to East Providence to ride the Looff carousel and enjoy a delicious lunch provided by the East Providence Lions. The afternoon continued with ice cream and a visit to National Night Out.

Wednesday was a day of excitement at Canobie Lake Park, where campers enjoyed the rides, attractions, and all the fun the park had to offer.

Thursday was a chance to relax and cool off at a private pool. We wrapped up the day with a wonderful dinner shared with members of the RILSF Lions.

Friday brought us to Harmony Hills, where the Glocester Lions hosted us for an exciting
day on the ropes courses. It was the perfect way to finish an incredible week!

And every night, we gathered around the fire pit to sing songs, share laughs, and enjoy
delicious s’mores together.
